CEMDI Connects

CEMDI Connects welcomes, Commissioner Maurice Cox, Chicago Department of Planning and Development (DPD) and Commissioner Marisa Novara Department of Housing (DOH) to provide updates on the recent expansion of the INVEST South/West initiative.

During the webinar, guests will learn more about ChiBlock Builder, a new online portal and The Come Home and Ready, Build— two exciting new initiatives minority and emerging developers can access to further develop their portfolio of real estate development projects. 

In addition, the DOH and DPD team will share recommendations on how to prepare to respond to the upcoming RFP’s. See below for a brief overview of The Come Home and Ready, Build Initiatives.

Chaston Montgomery, Senior Loan Officer with CIC will also present information on the current TIF Purchase Rehab Grants, Woodlawn Construction Loans and current Multi-Family Loan programs.
